UW-River Falls workshop offering practical guidance for those new to leadership or considering a leadership role. By attending, you will understand how to create effective boundaries, influence others, and build your capacity to lead. The role of a leader differs in many ways from the role of a technical expert. It takes more than a new name tag; it requires a transition from doing the work yourself to becoming one who fosters the productivity of others. This transition is even more complex if you must lead a group of former peers.
