The Gopher to Badger Half Marathon was started in 1997 and has continued to revel in the rivalry between the Minnesota Gophers and Wisconsin Badgers to this day!
This 'rivalry' has a long history between state borders and those taking part on foot, along with spectators of every age enjoy this friendly competition the event reveals on race day.
Over the past couple of years, both Minnesota and Wisconsin have shared in the glory of bringing home the Top Runner Prize!
This race is unique by way of busing runners from Hudson, WI to the start line in Stillwater, Minnesota and runners will head back to the finish line in Hudson, where the finish line festivities will commence near the Bandshell in Lakefront Park.
