St. Croix County is in the process of updating the St. Croix County Outdoor Recreation Plan. The Plan provides a strategy for how the County will develop, maintain, and improve its outdoor recreation resources. This includes:
- Establishing goals and objectives for County outdoor recreation
- Identifying existing facilities and parks
- Referencing various park user surveys to identify recreational trends and needs
- Assessing community needs
- Establishing priorities and identifying improvements and funding sources for County Park facilities
- Identifying potential land acquisition, development, and resource protection opportunities
