Doug Stohlberg
Former Editor of the Hudson Star-Observer
Doug Stohlberg will share Hudson history and recollections from the Hudson Star-Observer.
As the newly retired editor, he will be bringing some visuals which will help him to
demonstrate the role a newspaper has in capturing and reporting history as it is being made.
Doug began his career in journalism at the New Richmond News in 1971. He moved on to the Hudson Star-Observer in 1973 and served as the editor for 29 years from 1987 to 2016. Doug holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota.
