Name: Successful and Healthy Virtual Leadership
Date: September 8, 2020
Time: 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM CDT
Event Description:
Leading teams virtually can be very exciting and rewarding as well as successful. It can also be exhausting and create issues that you would not normally see in a face-to-face environment. This course is designed for all virtual leaders or those who are interested in exploring virtual leadership as an option for your organization. This course will focus on what we define as the four R’s: Right Communication: understanding the best tools and touch points to communicate with your team effectively and positively. Right EI: empathy and compassion (components of emotional intelligence) build relationships with your team. EI supports a positive virtual culture within your organization. Right Tools: there are many online tools and processes that can make your team effective and productive without zapping their energy. It is important to pick the tools that work for you and your team. Right Health: a virtual environment is very different from our face-to-face comforts. For many leaders (and their teams), finding the balance for a healthy virtual working environment is not easy. We will touch on mental health and ergonomics to make your virtual work environment healthy and successful.
