    A non-profit environmental education facility with campuses in Troy Township, WI (south of Hudson on Cty F) and Denmark Township, MN (north of Hastings on Hwy 95). CNC is free and open to the public to enjoy nature and the trails, daily from 8am - 4:30 pm. CNC also has numerous programs for schools, community groups, and the general public, both on-site and off-site. The Minnesota Campus includes a functional teaching orchard, a Visitor Center and 15 miles of trails. The Wisconsin Campus is a 300 acre natural area with 10 miles of trails and no formal visitor buildings. The Wisconsin Campus is located at 279 South Cove Road, Hudson WI. Carpenter Nature Center is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization that depends on individual donations, sponsorships and grants to stay open 361 days a year. Carpenter Nature Center's programs, trails and events serve more than 30,000 students and visitors annually.
